  • Compatible with the June 20th version of CompuTrainer 3D.

WHAT'S NEW IN v1.5 build 326

  • Fixed the export function for MultiRider MDF files.

WHAT'S NEW IN v1.5 build 308

  • First version no longer requiring registration. CS is now integral to CompuTrainer 3D.

  • Now saves unencrypted performance files.

  • Improved ability to read CompuTrainer 3D performance files; especially those with multiple laps.

  • Added MultiRider MDF reading capabilities.

  • Added a Perfs subfolder as default save-to folder.

  • Added AutoExport function to automatically export your performance file at the same time you save the performance file. This will save a *.txt file in the Perfs folder. To enable, edit charts.ini Autoexport=true

  • Added remote high/low HR alarm for PC speakers. To enable, edit charts.ini heartrate beep=true

  • Added Torque x/y scaling to SpinScan screens.

Updates Added to Coaching Software 1.5 over versions 1.0 or 1.1.

  • New screen design makes for easier viewing of data. Color of the backgrounds have been optimized to allow easier channel views of data by having added the channel selection buttons to the main screen.

  • An RPM indicator was added to allow the cyclist to help zone in on a particular RPM. It uses the RPM first seen by the cyclist, so when the timer begins, the cyclist should be at the RPM they plan to maintain. This is useful on ergometer tests where maintaining a fixed RPM is needed to minimize target watt search by the software. Target watt search is where the software must compensate for changes by increasing and decreasing the current to the Load Generator in the attempt to keep watts constant.

  • Added Manual Ergometer Mode. Similar to Ergometer mode as found in the CompuTrainer Stand-Alone functions, this will allow you to run Time/Watt tests on the fly. Data will be recorded for further analysis. You can predetermine the starting wattage and the watt steps prior to beginning by entering these values in the Options/Manual Ergo Options menu.

  • Added Full Screen SpinScan function. This, like the full screen SpinScan as found in PC1 has been improved to allow easier viewing and saving of performance data and better display of other performance data. Added also is Average SpinScan, a feature that has been requested.

  • By pressing "C" on your computer keyboard, a Screen Capture utility will allow you to capture standard Bitmap images to the <C:\Program Files\CompCS\Capture> folder.  In the Options menu you will find a Capture menu. This dialog will allow you to preset a prefix that will become part of the file name. Before running a test on a subject in Real-Time or File-Mode, set this to display perhaps the name and date of the rider and capture images for later use or to print out etc.

  • A utility file (charts.ini) contains the parameters of each channel view. You can edit charts.ini to adjust the y-axis scaling of any channel data. You can adjust both the minimum and maximum scale.  If you find channel data is running over the top of other data or is being clipped off, edit these parameters to reposition any channel to a less populated portion of the screen and/or to compress the data.

  • Belkin Model F5U409 USB-to-serial adapters have experienced some problems communicating properly with CompuTrainer Software.  If one is needed, we recommend getting something other than this brand or one that is offered from RacerMate.   Click here to order the RacerMate supported USB-to-Serial adapter.

  • ATA values saved in the 3D v3.0 software does not work correctly. We are working on this within the 3D software. Coaching Software can't fix this.
