Support - MULTIRIDER


MultiRider software allows up to eight riders on CompuTrainers to connect to one computer using a combination of serial ports and/or USB-to-Serial adapters.  The potential for setup problems are such that it is advisable to study the information on this page thoroughly -- in addition to following the steps as outlined in the Readme file or PDF document.

System Requirements

  • Windows 2000, XP (Home or Professional), Vista, Windows 7. 
    There is no support for Windows 95, 98, or ME.
    Windows Vista/7 users, read this.
  • Pentium IV class PC.
  • Up to 2 USB Ports (if no serial port is available for Rider #1)
  • 7 Port or two 4-port USB Hubs
  • up to 8 identical USB to Serial Adapters (RacerMate version recommended)
  • up to 8 Pro Lab edition CompuTrainers.

MultiRider 2009 will install in a different location from MultiRider III, if installed. 
You should read carefully the readme files if you are to run this software for important information
regarding the transfer of your MR III riders.csv file for use in MR 2009! 
We do not intend to do an update to MR2009 from MRIII.

Though every effort to find problems has been taken prior to release, problems may still exist in this RC1 version. 
If you find any problems, contact us.

Current Known Issues with MultiRider Real Course Video -- now being worked on:
• Can't Force a Finish early
• Can't Pause and Resume a race (race actually resets if you do this)

This version of MultiRider 2009 requires this version of the VC++ redistributable
vcredist_x86.exe (Oct. 22, 2009 release)

ROLL BACK to PREVIOUS MultiRider Real Course Video BETA
If you have any problems with the MR RCV (as some have), you can roll back to the last version.
