Hello, RacerMate!

 My name is Adam Johnston.  My business partner, Peter Oyler, and I would like to tell you of a venture we’ve started which heavily relies on the CompuTrainer product and its reputation. 

 We are located in Toronto, Canada.  Our nation’s largest city poses many a challenge for the typical cyclist/triathlete:  traffic, congestion, smog, etc.  Not to mention that our winters are rather nasty and lengthy, too. 

 In order to assist the development of Toronto’s cyclists, we have opened a marvelous indoor cycling studio, called WattsUp Cycling (www.WattsUpCycling.ca).  Our studio features what we believe to be the largest single CompuTrainer studio in North America, with 25 CompuTrainers on our studio floor! 

• We have three rows of eight CompuTrainers, and one instructor CompuTrainer on a raised platform.
• Each of the three rows is on its own MultiRider system.
• The front of our studio has three large projector screens where our three MultiRider systems are displayed.  Imagine, 24 riders pounding away on the same course at the same time!
• Our CompuTrainers are anchored to a specially-built sub floor which keeps all the wires and electrical boxes hidden. 
• We’ve used CompuTrainer’s suggested instructions to make a separate stand for each CompuTrainer control panel. 

 We opened up shop December 1, 2008.  And are in the process of building our rider base.  Thus far we’ve had a terrific turn out from cyclists, triathletes, and fitness enthusiasts!  The word on the street here in Toronto is very positive! 

 We offer weekday instructor-led classes, and weekend MultiRider classes.  We incorporate regular lactate-based performance testing into our riding programs to ensure our riders are riding according to their unique power zones, and improving as time marches by. 

 We are especially thankful to two top notch CompuTrainer centres in the US:  Cadence Cycling in New York, and eCycling in San Francisco.  We have partially modeled our studio and programs after these two remarkable facilities. 

 Dealing with RacerMate was a piece of cake!  Our shipment of CompuTrainers was received only a few days after placing our order.  RacerMate included several spare parts in the event of loss or damage…which we’ve already made use of.  Thank you!
