3DC files are designed for use
with CompuTrainer or Velotron 3D software.
Before you begin... some important notes:
-
When you download new courses, make sure you
put them in the following folder on your computer: C:\Program
Files\CompuTrainer 3D V3\Courses to make them appear in the
course list within the 3D software. If you choose to locate them in an
alternative folder, you will need to use the Browse option within the Course
Load dialog.
-
RacerMate/Delorme TopoUSA
created courses may require a more current version of CompuTrainer 3D to run. For the latest 3D v3.0 update patch,
-
Courses created
using newer versions of CompuTrainer 3D software may not be backwards compatible with
older versions of
CompuTrainer 3D software.
-
If you would like to use 3DC courses in other products, use the Export
feature found in the Save menu of the 3D Software to convert 3DC files to
CRS files. The following comment will then apply to these courses.
-
These files can be used within Coaching Software, but because
the 3D software
interpolates between two
differing grades, the profile will look slightly different in these programs
than what you will see in the 3D Software. For an in-depth explanation
of 3D courses, click here.
-
If you own the original 3D software build 116 (v2.0)
or earlier you can upgrade to
3D version 3.0
software at a reduced price,
click
here.
