"Cycling has always been my weekest
discipline but since using the CompuTrainer through the off
season last year I've been able to come off the bike in the top
2 in my AG at all this year's races. SpinScan has helped me
develop a more constant & balanced power output and I'm hoping I
can use this knowledge to curb my 'enthusiasm' during the early
stages of the Kona bike course."

NEW CADENCE SENSOR FOR COMPUTRAINER™
|A new Cadence Sensor for CompuTrainer
developed for MultiRider centers and home
applications where two or more riders share the use of a CompuTrainer. It is an
optical device and does NOT mount on the bike, but instead sits on the floor
beneath the pedal. It senses when the pedal passes over it and communicates this
signal to the Handlebar
Controller using a cable plugged into the RPM jack. The cadence signal
from The Puck supports the display of both Cadence AND
SpinScan™. The Puck is rugged, sweat-proof, and very easy to use; eliminating the time
required to attach and detach the standard cadence sensor from the bike---the reason many
MultiRider centers chose not to use the bike-mounted cadence sensor.
|The CompuTrainer Puck comes fully
assembled and requires a Puck compatible Handlebar Controller which has
been internally modified and contains firmware version 41.62. It may be used with any
CompuTrainer Pro or Lab model Load Generator.
Older Handlebar Controllers, those
not having a 41.62 firmware version, will require
an upgrade ($99) to be Puck compatible. Contact
for more information.
